The sounds of strings filled the air as our Smart8 Violinists, led by their teacher Clare Chadderton, provided a gentle prelude to our concert “Hello World, This is Me”. This year the concert was done in a slightly different format – lots of choreography, a ‘play’ format in the senior grades and we had four amazing bands accompanying each item. From our over excited preps through our glitzy year 3s to our ‘too cool for school’ year 6s they sang and danced their socks off. They behaved back stage and in the audience and performed their hearts out for us on stage – we thank them and are proud of them!
A big thank you to our classroom teachers – months of planning costumes, choosing songs, practising dances, answering constant questions (from students and parents), surviving dress rehearsal and rehearsal on the day and then, finally, ushering their students on stage – a mammoth effort and deserved of applause. Special thanks to the Concert organising committee – Lisa Gough, Jane Robertson, Lee-Ean Teoh, Pauline Stove, Roland Lewis, Sandi Davis (parent rep.) and extra applause for Cherie Preston and Michael Jenkins for their planning, producing, conducting and all round extra effort to bring us…………

Our Annual School Disco was a fabulous success - a picture's worth a thousand words: School Disco 2009
Our school is working with
the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to allocate a Victorian Student Number (VSN) to each student at the school. The introduction of the Victorian Student Number will provide the capability to accurately detect patterns of student movement through, and departure from, the Victorian education and training system.
A letter has been sent home advising you of your child's VSN number – please keep this with your child’s records.
