Congratulations to our newly elected 2026 student leaders who were formally inducted into their leadership positions at our school's assembly on Monday 8th December 2025.

We are very proud to share that our school’s Open Chess Team has been crowned State Champions.

On Monday November 24th, Level Three attended Camp Toolangi to experience an exciting taste of what it is like to go on camp. 

On Thursday the 6^th of November, we hosted our annual New Families Afternoon Tea in the gymnasium. The event was a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, make new connections, and grow friendships within our school community.

On Friday, the 31st of October, Glen Waverley Primary School was alive with colour, laughter, and creativity as students celebrated our Halloween and Melbourne Cup Day Fundraiser!

The Year 4s had a wonderful adventure at Cave Hill Creek from Monday to Wednesday last week.

On Thursday 23rd October, six students proudly represented Glen Waverley Primary School at the Regional Track and Field Competition.

On Friday, the 10th of October, Glen Waverley Primary School was filled with excitement as students celebrated Jeans for Genes Day!

On Wednesday October 8th, 47 of our talented athletes represented GWPS at the Monash Waverley Division Athletics Competition, competing across a range of track and field events including sprints, shot put and high jump. It was a fantastic day filled with determination, teamwork, and school spirit.
