On Friday the 12th of November, the Prep students participated in the Flying Bookworm incursion. This incursion served as a primer to build towards our Prep Prom.

On Wednsday 14th July, our Preps went on an adventure to Bundoora Park Farm!
On Tuesday 25th May, GWPS celebrated Education Week by hosting an Open Morning and Open Evening. This year’s theme celebrated the strong connection between our school community, engaging with our learners, GWPS parents and families whilst also celebrating the learning and success of our students.
On Wednesday 19th May, Glen Waverley Primary School took part in the National Simultaneous Storytime where all the children at our school, in 100’s of schools across the nation and an astronaut in space, read the Storybook “Give Me Some Space” simultaneously at 10:40am.
On Thursday 11th March close to 400 students and their teachers attended our annual Glen Waverley Primary School Intra-School Athletics Day at Bill Stewart Athletics Reserve. The students participated in a number of events such as high jump, shot put, discus, long jump and triple jump.
Over the course of Term Two, 16 GWPS dancers from Level 5/6 have taken part in a series of electrifying and energetic rehearsals, both online and on excursions at Laburnum Primary school.
On Tuesday 2nd March 2021, our Year 5 learners headed off for Camp to Beechworth, and what an amazing time they all had! Our learner’s have grown in their independence, resilience, emotional intelligence and historical understandings of this captivating region.
On Tuesday 23rd March 2021, we celebrated our annual Harmony Day celebration. A day that is designed to build awareness of global diversity, acceptance and peace.
