On Tuesday 16th August, 142 excited Level Two students boarded the bus to the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
On the 10th of August the Year Ones were lucky enough to have a visitor from two local police officers from the Forest Hill Police Station.
On Thursday 28th July, our Prep students had their first excursion to the Melbourne Museum.
On Friday 22nd July, we celebrated our Prep Students for successfully completing 100 Days of Prep.
On Wednesday 20th July, our Year 4 learners headed off for Camp to Cave Hill Creek, and what an amazing time they all had! Our learner’s have grown in their independence, resilience, and their emotional intelligence.

Congratulations to Daivik in 6F who entered the 'Moving Forward Together Song Writing Competition'. Daivik had to write an original 2 minute song about 'Celebrating Harmony'.
Congratulations to our 2022 Term Two Principal Learning Award recipients who were presented with their award certificate at a special whole school assembly on Friday 24th June.
On Thursday 2nd June , the Preps had their first instalment of an incursion led by Vermont South Fire Brigade. The focus of this 2 part incursion is to educate our Prep students on Fire Safety with encouragement for them to pass their learning onto their families.
On Tuesday 31st May, the Year One learners spent an insightful day at CERES Environmental Community Park.
On Tuesday 24th May, GWPS celebrated Education Week by hosting an Open Morning. This year’s theme for Education Week is "Celebrating 150 Years of Education in Victoria". At GWPS we changed the focus to "Celebrating Learning".
At Glen Waverley Primary School, we base our actions on research and the development of the whole child. On Wednesday 11th May, the Preps were introduced to a specialised PMP (Perceptual Motor Program).
