Congratulations to our 2026 Term Three Principal Learning Award recipients who were presented with their award certificate at a special end of term whole school assembly on Friday 18th September 2026.

On 15th September, Year 2 students visited Puffing Billy to experience one of the Eastern suburbs' most iconic landmarks.

On 7th and 8th September, Year Three students visited the Immigration Museum as part of their Term Three Inquiry unit, “How does our country continue to change?”

On Friday 14th August, our Preps celebrated 100 Days of Prep. They arrived with big smiles and wonderful costumes to help mark this very special milestone in their learning journey.

On Wednesday, 12 August, Glen Waverley Primary School came together to celebrate Jeans for Genes Day! Students and staff proudly wore their favourite denim outfits, creating a fun and colourful day across the school.

On Monday 10th August, our Prep students and teachers, had a wonderful time watching and participating in The Flying Bookworm interactive storytelling incursion. Prep students were transported into the exciting worlds of some loved traditional stories.

Our Prep students recently enjoyed two exciting and educational visits from our local firefighters, learning valuable lessons about fire safety and the important role firefighters play in our community.

On Wednesday the 22nd July, our school was filled with excitement as students took part in our annual Future Career Dress Up Day.
