On Friday 11th December, we recognised our youngest members of the school community with their special event, the Prep Prom.
On the 9th December 2020, GWPS held their annual 2021 Transition Day. This transition program is designed to set up our students for success.
Congratulations to our newly elected 2021 student leaders who were formally inducted into their leadership positions at a Virtual Leadership Handover Ceremony on Monday 7th December 2020.
On Thursday 3rd December, we celebrated the 2020 Year 6 children and their primary school journey. Our Grade 6 graduation ceremony was a great success and all of our students and families should be very proud.
On Friday 4th December, Level Two held their Cardboard Toy Game Expo showcasing their transfer of their amazing toy games they have created in Inquiry.
On Friday 13th November Glen Waverley Primary School held a Cultural Dress Day in recognition of the upcoming festival of Diwali and other festivals of cultural significance that have occurred throughout the year.
Halloween is a celebration observed in several countries on 31st October. Some of our students who wished to embrace this event came to school in simple Halloween Costumes. It was exciting to see so many wonderful costumes and hearing stories about their costumes.
