Visit from Monash City Council
On Wednesday, 31 July, the Monash City Council team visited our school and generously brought 50 plants for our Indigenous garden. This event was particularly special for Sophie and Eliana from 5B, who were the inspiration behind this project.
After many weeks of email exchanges, students and staff finally met Naomi and Wendy in person. Their visit was highly informative, as they shared valuable insights about each plant.
To express gratitude, the school presented Naomi and Wendy with certificates and gift bags, acknowledging their contributions. The next phase of the project involves identifing the growth patterns of these beautiful plants. A special thank you goes to Miss Stevenson for making this initiative possible.
What began as a small idea from Sophie and Eliana has blossomed into a significant achievement, providing an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
