On Thursday 24th October, our Year Six Leaders embarked on their penultimate Leadership Day for the year. They spent the day at Glen Waverley Secondary College, where they had the chance to ask questions about transitioning to high school during a Q&A panel with current GWSC students and teachers.

The students also engaged in activities that deepened their understanding of leadership values and reflected on the ones most important to them.



It was a day of reconnection, as they met familiar faces from previous Leadership Days, and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience—especially lunchtime at the school canteen! 

Here’s what some of our leaders had to say about the day:

• Shaya: "I enjoyed the passport activity, where we got to reflect on our values in one of the high school classrooms."
• Ajuni: "I liked the school tour because I got to explore a new environment and see what high school will be like next year."
• Ayaan: "I enjoyed meeting new teachers and students. I made some new friends, so I’ll see some familiar faces next year."
