On Friday 19th May, the Preps had their first instalment of an incursion led by Vermont South Fire Brigade. The focus of this 2 part incursion is to educate our Prep students on Fire Safety with encouragement for them to pass their learning onto their families.

The Preps deepened their understanding on how to be safe around fires and were given a task to have a conversation with their parents and pick a ‘safe meeting spot’ in case they are caught in an emergency. 

The Firefighters will be back on the 20th of June, to showcase their firetruck and present more tips on being safe around fires.
