Radio Committee

The Year 6 Radio Committee is one of our innovation groups that provides a wonderful, yet unique opportunity for students. Students are given the experience of hosting a weekly broadcast at GWPS, with sessions each week working towards and on skills and techniques that centre around public speaking and presenting radio. This program builds upon those skills learnt in the Podcasting programs, classroom and other specialist areas, with a strong emphasis placed upon student voice and ownership of radio planning and preparation, content and programming.
