Debating provides students with an opportunity to develop their skills in critical thinking, reasoning and public speaking. The students on the debating team learn to articulate in a clear manner, address an audience and present a strong argument. They learn about important issues affecting our world and engage in friendly competitions with students within the school and from other schools.
Debating Club sessions are held every Tuesday at lunchtime in 05E Class room.
Students in Years 5 and 6 may choose to enrol in this program.
All students from Years 5 and 6 are invited to participate. However, numbers are limited for debating teams so it is important that students are committed to attending the weekly sessions.
For any queries regarding details of Debating Club, please contact Ms Tracey Tsang - Level Prep teacher or Mrs Sue Coffey - Assistant Principal.
