STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics)
STEAM Innovation is a program designed to facilitate learners in the deepening of their understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths while complimenting the existing Inquiry Curriculum. This is achieved through an investigative process, encompassing stages that focus on using and analysing data, identifying the challenge and formulating a STEAM based solution using design, production and presentation.
The program operates with Innovation groups using the STEAM room as the central hub in the school for teaching and learning of STEAM. The room contains advanced technology such as 3D printers, laser cutters and white board tables which are used as highly effective tools in this process.
