In My Opinion - Public Speaking Program Year 4-6

Introduction to Public Speaking Program available to all Year 4-6 students, every Monday after school from 3.30pm – 4.45pm.

 

The program is being run by Arshia Rana, founder of InMyOpinion who has 10 years of Public speaking and debating experience. InMyOpinion is an organisation with a mission to forge the next generation of leaders, with effective communication skills. Some of Arshia’s achievements include winning 2nd place in the State PESA Competition and won a Swannie award for Best Debater in the state as a Law/Commerce student at Monash University.

 

In this program students will learn to:

 

  • Speak in all styles; Entertaining, Informative, Persuasive, Argumentative
  • Speak formally and in daily conversations
  • Think on the spot
  • Articulate their thoughts and opinions and
  • Build Confidence

 

 

After school program will be held in the Staffroom in the Main Building.
