On behalf of the students, staff and School Council, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all children and parents who are beginning an association with Glen Waverley Primary School. I am extremely proud and honoured to be this wonderful school’s Principal and cherish the opportunity to assist in the development of our most precious resource – our children.

Glen Waverley Primary is proud to be an Accredited Member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).  The CIS recognises schools throughout the world for their high professional standards, commitment to improvement and curriculum that incorporates global perspectives. We are also extremely proud of our reputation for providing a comprehensive and challenging curriculum, academic excellence, valuable friendships and catering for each individual. Our purpose is to provide a safe, stimulating and supportive environment that develops all students to their full potential - academically, socially and emotionally – as we instil in children a lifelong love of learning.

Our strong academic focus is supported by a multitude of extra-curricular programs such as Physical Education, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Multi-Media, STEAM, English as an Additional Language (EAL), Music, Language (Mandarin) and Intervention and Extension programs, such as Advanced Maths, Writing, Music and Art.

Prospective parents and students are most welcome to visit our school throughout the year. I love this school and enjoy showing people around. Every day is open day at Glen Waverley Primary School.

We welcome prospective student and their families to join our School Tours which are run every Tuesday at 9.30am during the School Term.
