HERE'S THE NEWEST GENIE, READY TO HELP DREAMERS ACHIEVE!

With his foggy body and bright smile, Glenny the Genie is a leader that you can count on. He'll ALWAYS be there to help, like the mist in a forest. He's a friendly, magical and caring mascot, and is the one you can count on to achieve your dreams! He might not physically be able to carry you, but his shoulders are always there for others to lean on.

Even though he might not look the part to some people, he's not just a mascot and leader, he's also an empathetic friend. Glenny loves helping people. When he found out about Glen Waverley Primary School, he fell in love with it for its students' and their loving personalities, and he is our school’s loving mascot. Very straight-forwardly showing others the importance of the learning norms, he's someone reliable and knows that mistakes are important to succeed! Encouraging others to do their best, it's a good thing that you'll be able to see his body's bright colours even in the darkest of nights, like a beacon in the dark. His purple and green aura represent both respect and empathy. Plus, the light on his head is something a dreamer should have! He's just like a pure orb of hope. Cool, right? 

He appears around the school and at school events, representing and showing other students the magic of respect and empathy as a role model. These elements are like magic powers to make our school a happy and friendly place. Whenever someone makes a kind or respectful choice, Glenny shines even brighter! He takes the initiative to teach others what they can do better, and what they can pay forward to others! He really wants the whole school to appreciate each other, to make Glen Waverley Primary School a better place than it is already; a place where all our ideas combined can create a welcoming place where no harm is done. 

He values respect and empathy, and his motto is, "The magic of respect and empathy makes our school shine!"
