On Monday 14th August, the Year Twos played the role of investigative reporters to uncover GWPS history.

During this session they listened to entertaining stories of the past from a guest and previous Assistant Principal, Damien Kitch, Brian Hogan (cleaner for 17 years) and Principal Frank Catalano after which they then interviewed.
 

During the incursion they discovered that the buildings, uniforms, school motto and people (students and teachers) had changed significantly over time while some things remained the same. The Year Twos will use this information to add to their timeline of which they are currently constructing as part of their Inquiry unit of learning, “How do cultures change a community?”.
