On Friday 8th November, our Year 3 children were extremely excited as they attended their first sleepover at school. We provided an experience that was rewarding for all the children, challenging them, and allowing them to experience ‘camp life’ to prepare them for future camps.
Throughout the sleepover the children got to participate in a wide range of outdoor and indoor activities.

The day commenced a few days prior as the children were provided with the task of packing their own luggage for the event. On Friday they arrived with their luggage and completed a full day or learning before commencing the much anticipated Sleepover. Initially they had a scrumptious snack followed by some games, dinner (pizza), a movie and night activities.

All in all this year’s Year 3 Sleepover was a resounding success and thoroughly enjoyed by all as the children developed their resilience and independence skills in preparation for the Year 4 camp.

Congratulations to all of the children and a sincere thank you to the Year 3 teachers for organising the event, the magnitude of staff who assisted throughout the evening and families as your support and efforts are really appreciated.
